KnitPro

knitPro is a web application that translates digital images into knit, crochet, needlepoint and cross-stitch patterns. Just upload jpeg, gif or png images of whatever you wish -- portraits, landscapes, logos... and it will generate the image pattern on a grid sizable for any fiber project.

Ok so, this program is kind of amazing. I was really excited to try it out and I'm going to do a couple portraits for christmas. However- I found that if you want to recreate some text, and you want to use an icon or photo with text on it, the pattern comes out a little fuzzy. If you pick a font that is pretty simple, like times new roman or arial, and make your text in paint and save it as a jpeg, it comes out much clearer. Thanks for the post though! It was great! <33
